"The Psychopathis Cyber Freak" has been described as "What Is Hip" meets "Purple Haze." There is a definite Don Ellis influence in this tune as well. This slow rock tune is pretty weird, but effective. The overall sound is somewhat kooky and might be the off-beat selection to add variety to any jazz concert.
