Standard Concert Band Parts with Conductor Score Tapestry was commissioned by Mr. Allen Simmons, director of the Smackover High School Band in Smackover, Arkansas. Mr. Simmons has been a band director in various high schools in south Arkansas and north Louisiana for over 35 years. This work was written to commemerate these years of service and to celeberate Mr. Simmons retirement in 2016. The format of this work is a standard band overture form (ABA).
