This composition begins with a warrior retiring from the Crusades. The opening section is marked Maestoso and utilizes modal interchange harmony. The upper voices play the melody while the middle alto voices have the countermelody. The section section of the composition marked Allegro which signifies the warrior's triumphant return from the Crusades. This section mostly uses modal harmony and just about everone will play the melody at one time or another. Also, this composition has many percussion parts for the section to enjoy.
